Romina Gayá
• I hold a BA in Economics (USAL / Université de Toulouse) and an MA in International Economic Relations (Universitat de Barcelona / Universidad de San Andrés). I specialize in international trade in services and the knowledge economy.
• For over twenty years I have worked as an independent consultant, designing and implementing export promotion, investment attraction and public policy strategies to strengthen the internationalization of services, technology and creative industries. I have worked on projects in more than fifteen countries, advising multilateral organizations, governments, business associations and companies. Institutions that have entrusted me with their projects include the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), the Latin American Integration Association (LAIA), the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru (MINCETUR), the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Paraguay (MIC), ProColombia, ProEcuador, ProPanama, ProCórdoba, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Argentina, Argencon and ANALDEX (Colombia), among others.
• I also support knowledge-economy SMEs when going global. I regularly deliver courses on this topic for business chambers and associations, technology clusters and public promotion and support agencies.
• I also teach international economics and I participate a speaker at specialized events, focusing on trends in trade in services and the knowledge economy.
